The Program

The Athens AGM & World Conference will offer a rich, international program of workshops and presentations geared at inspiring, challenging, training, and providing you with new ideas for new realities to grow your Prides and improve your role in your organization.
Workshop tracks include wellbeing, conflict resolution, inclusion, accessibility, security and safety, communication, human rights around the globe, and other practical matters of concern to Pride organizers worldwide.

The complete program and workshop titles will be posted before the Conference.

Thursday 17 October

1:00 PM (13.00): The AGM officially gets underway with two full sessions of concurrent workshops, followed by the popular Speed Networking event.

Evening Welcome Scholarship Reception at the 1854 Residence of the Dutch Ambassador near the hotel.


Friday 18 October and Saturday 19 October

Plenary sessions I and II, with World Pride 2023 and AGM 2021 bid presentations and InterPride business. Plus two full days of educational workshops and presentations by professionals and experienced Pride organizers from around the world. Here’s a preview sampling of what to expect:

Saturday Night Gala

The Athens AGM culminates with cocktails, dinner, entertainment, and dancing – all with a view of the Aegean Sea, at the magnificent Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Delta Hall, Level 5A in the Greek National Opera Building. (

Sunday 20 October

Morning: Final presentations, Plenary session III with Brunch

Sunset Excursion to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion (add-on, cost 60 euros).

Those staying on can book this excursion, approximately one hour along the Saronic Gulf coast road, to the shrine ancient mariners last viewed and prayed at before they set out to sea. Package includes private bus, entry and tour of the ancient site, followed by dinner and return to hotel.
